Hen nights, hen days and hen weekends in Manchester
Hen Party Limo Hire Manchester
Pink limos, pink Hummers and party buses for Manchester hen parties
Manchester is one of the UK's busiest hen destinations, and the limousine is usually the part of the plan that gets booked last and remembered longest. Whether it is a hen night for eight from Didsbury into Spinningfields, a hen weekend of sixteen arriving at Piccadilly, or a daytime hen that starts at the Trafford Centre and ends on Canal Street, this page covers how the booking works in Manchester, which vehicle fits your group, how the price is worked out and the questions the organiser always gets asked.
- Pink Lincoln for 8, pink Hummer for 16
- Party buses for up to 30
- Prosecco packages and decorations
- One organiser, one fixed price
Choose the shape first
Three ways Manchester hen parties use a limo
Before the vehicle, decide what job the limousine is doing. That decision shapes the price far more than the colour of the car.
Collected at home, dropped in town
One pick-up (or two addresses close together), prosecco on the way in, dropped at the first bar. The limo leaves; you carry on. The cheapest option and the right one when the night is about the venues rather than the car.
The lowest-priced way to book any hen limoThe limo stays with you between venues
Pick-up, a cruise past the Quays and the city lights, a restaurant drop, then on to the bars – with the limousine waiting at each stop. The version most hen groups actually want once they have seen the price split between them.
Quoted by vehicle and date – no taxis between venuesDaytime out, limo into the night
A shopping or afternoon-tea hen at the Trafford Centre or in the city during the day, then the limousine collects the whole group from the hotel for the night out. Common for hens arriving from Leeds, Liverpool or further afield.
Priced as a return or a 3-hour bookingWhere Manchester hen parties actually go – and where the limo drops you
Manchester's hen scene is spread across four or five areas with very different moods, and a limousine makes it easy to use more than one in a night. These are the set-down points our chauffeurs use, because a stretch limo cannot stop outside every bar door.
- Spinningfields – the cocktail-bar and rooftop start to most hen nights (The Ivy, 20 Stories, The Alchemist and their neighbours). Set-down on Quay Street or Bridge Street.
- Deansgate and Deansgate Locks – bars and clubs under the railway arches. Set-down on Whitworth Street West; the Locks are pedestrian from there.
- Peter Street and Albert Square – Albert's Schloss, the Midland and the big hotel bars. Set-down on Peter Street itself outside the hotel forecourts.
- Northern Quarter – independent bars, cocktail dens and bottomless brunches. The streets are narrow and one-way; the limo drops on Stevenson Square or Church Street and it is two minutes to anywhere in the Quarter.
- Canal Street – the Gay Village, a hen-night fixture for decades. Set-down on Princess Street or Whitworth Street.
- The Printworks and Corn Exchange – big venues, late licences. Set-down on the Corporation Street side.
For the daytime half of a hen weekend, the same vehicle covers the Trafford Centre, afternoon tea in the city or a bottomless brunch in Ancoats, and the chauffeur holds the bags between stops.
Which limo for a hen party?
Hen groups in Manchester split neatly by size, and the vehicle choice follows.
Up to 8: the pink Lincoln stretch
The classic hen limo and the best value for a group of eight: bar, mood lighting set to pink, music from your phone, and a price that splits eight ways into very little for the arrival. A white Lincoln or a Chrysler Baby Bentley does the same job for a group that would rather not go pink. Full details on pink limo hire Manchester.
9 to 13: the pink Lincoln Navigator or a 4×4 stretch
The forgotten middle. A Navigator or Jeep Expedition stretch seats thirteen along the cabin, costs less per hour than a Hummer H2, and still has the bar, lighting and sound. If your group is ten or eleven, this is almost always the quote to take.
14 to 16: the pink Hummer H2
The vehicle every Manchester hen party asks about. Sixteen seats, starlight ceiling, the bar running the length of the cabin, and an entrance on Peter Street that stops traffic. It is the first vehicle to sell out on summer Saturdays. The white or black Hummer H2 is the alternative when the pink one is gone.
16 to 30: the party bus
For the biggest hen groups, a party bus is the only way to keep everyone in one vehicle: standing room, a dance floor, a proper sound system and a bar. It changes the night from "transport" to "the first venue".

What a hen party limo costs in Manchester
Organisers think in price per head, so start there. Limo hire in Manchester begins at £365 for a one-hour stretch limousine, which is the pink Lincoln's end of the fleet; the pink Hummer H2 and the party buses cost more for the hour and, split between fourteen or more, usually work out cheaper per person than the stretch does between eight. Beyond that starting point every hen booking is quoted for its own date, because the price depends on the vehicle, whether you want the arrival or the full three hours, the day of the week and where we collect you. Summer Saturdays and every weekend in December are the dates the pink fleet is priced for the night; a Friday, a Sunday or a midweek hen is noticeably less for the same car. The detail is on limo hire Manchester prices.
Two things make hen bookings cheaper without changing the night: collecting everyone from one address (or a hotel) rather than four houses across south Manchester, and booking the arrival rather than the full three hours if the limo is only there to deliver you. Tell us your budget per head and we will say which hen limos fit under it on your date.
Organising for a group? We quote the total and the per-head figure together, so you can send one message to the group chat and collect it.

Every hen limo arrives cleaned, with glassware and ice buckets, mood lighting, a sound system for your playlist, privacy glass and a chauffeur who knows the set-down points above. Add-ons we arrange most for Manchester hens:
- Prosecco or champagne package – chilled and opened at the pick-up. You can also bring your own on most vehicles.
- Decorations – balloons, a "Bride to Be" banner, sashes left on the seats, a red carpet at the pick-up.
- A surprise pick-up – the chauffeur waits around the corner until the bride is outside. A regular request in Chorlton, Prestwich and Sale.
- A photo stop – Castlefield, the Quays at dusk or outside the pink Hummer on Peter Street. Built into a three-hour booking.
- A return collection – the same limo back at 1am. Priced as a return booking rather than by the hour, so it is usually cheaper than keeping the vehicle all night.
Hens arriving from outside Manchester
A large share of Manchester hen parties are not from Manchester. Groups come in from Leeds, Liverpool, Sheffield, Preston and further for the weekend, and the limo booking changes slightly: the pick-up is usually a hotel or Piccadilly station rather than a house, and the limousine's first job is often the hotel-to-dinner run on the Saturday evening. If you are staying in the city centre, tell us the hotel – most have forecourts a stretch limo can use – and we will time the collection around your dinner reservation. For groups staying out at the Trafford Centre hotels or Salford Quays, the limo into town and back is the whole night's transport sorted.
Booking a hen party limo in Manchester
Send us the date, your best guess at numbers, the pick-up address or hotel, the first venue and whether you want the arrival, the full three hours or a return at the end of the night – and whether it has to be pink. With that we can confirm which hen limos are free in Manchester on your date and send one fixed price with the per-head figure alongside it. Summer Saturdays and every weekend in December sell out six to eight weeks ahead; the Manchester limo hire calendar shows which weekends go first.
Hen party questions
Hen party limo hire Manchester FAQs
How far ahead should a hen party book a limo in Manchester?
Six to eight weeks for a Saturday between May and September or any weekend in December – pink vehicles go first. For a Friday, a Sunday or a midweek hen, three to four weeks is usually fine.
Can we drink on board?
Yes. Prosecco and champagne packages can be added to the quote, and you can bring your own on most vehicles. Glassware and ice are provided. No alcohol is carried on under-18 bookings.
Can the limo stop at more than one bar?
On a three-hour booking, yes – two or three set-downs with the limousine waiting is normal. A one-hour arrival is a single drop. Tell us the plan and we will book the right length.
Can the limousine collect us from different houses?
Two addresses close together (Didsbury then Chorlton, say) are fine within an arrival. Collections spread across Greater Manchester add time and cost, so for a scattered group a single meeting point – one house, a pub or a hotel – keeps the price down.
What happens if our numbers change?
Tell us as soon as you know. Going from eight to nine means a different vehicle, so we would rather re-quote early than find out on the night. Losing one or two from a sixteen changes nothing.
